Line and shape
Line and shape reflection
I chose to shoot my photo outside in the daylight to get better exposure . My best picture was my first one of the brick walkway, i got down low to the ground and shot really close at a slight angle straight on. This photo is vertical and i did not consider rule of thirds as i was talking it because i feel as if it wasn't needed. The curved layout of the bricks draw the viewer's eyes up and around the photo because of the use of vertical lines going throughout the path.
pattern and texture
pattern and texture reflection
-My best photo was number 1 because i felt it had the best exposure and the rock gave off a nice pattern/ texture.
- In this shot i was up close and and at a slight angle looking downward on it. My photo is vertical.
-yes it follows the rule of thirds because it can be separated into the rows and columns and still be even.
- Yes this photo has a nice texture coming from the rocks and the way they are stacked gives them a pattern.
In changing your photos to black and white, we have adjusted the levels in your photos with consideration of the highlights, midtones and shadows.
-My second photo is overexposed
-The spots between the the leaves and the fence are a little light.
- my second to last photo was underexposed
-just the wood in general is dark
-i feel my first photo has the best exposure because its even and balanced

Motion reflection
-1/1000
-We froze the movement of spinning an umbrella
-we were at a close distance and looked straight on as the point of view.
-pattern, line, and rule of thirds was used.
Select one of your images that show a slow shutter speed.
- 1/15
-after spinning the umbrella the whole object is blurred
-The distance is very close and looks directly onward.
-pattern, line, rule of thirds
Painting with light
Painting with light reflection
-My last photo is all three lights moving in different directions and swirling around as well
- 1st- 2.5 seconds 2nd- 4.0 sec 3rd- 4.0 sec
- we used christmas lights and smaller hand held lights
-some photos we ran back and forth in front of the camera and some we stood still and spun the lights
-the viewer would feel interested in the lights and all the directions each color is going.
Aperture
aperture reflection
-the f-stop we used was f4.2
- the iso was 1600 and 3200 and and the white balance was fluorescent
-my f-stop was set on f29 to create a large depth of field.
-the iso was set on 1600 and 3200 and the white balance was fluorescent.
-the second photo of the legs against the wall is one of the best photos because it shows a better representation of shallow depth of field.
-you would want to use shallow depth of field to show a blur in the background and ca clear shot up close.
-a large depth of field would be needed if you wanted the whole photo in focus and clear.

point of view
point of view reflection
-I chose to use my shoes to shoot for my pictures
-the details in the shoes are good to photograph.
-i like shoes and i thought it would be easy to get different points of view from it.
-some points of view i photographed were from the side, above, straight on, and one shoe doing something different than the on next to it. i pit the ISO on 600.
-i moved the shoes so the background wouldn't be an issue and if it happened to get in the way i used photoshop to edit it out.
-I focused on the main details of the shoes to capture the smaller patterns.
